We went in to Woolworths today to get to where we had parked the car, it was horrible, it was almost as if the shop had been broken in to by raiders and everything had been stolen.

I can remember going to Woolworths on the weekends with my parents when I was little and then they had a cafe, it is a shame that a store that has been around for 100 years has to close down and no doubt another bric-a-brac shop will open in it's place!

That's really sad :( I was at the Woolies in Swanage (south England) a few weeks ago and they have about 6 members of staff, all lovely ladies. It was chaos. I really hope they find something else quickly. I hope that they were given at least some something from the company to tide them over until they find work ... however I sincerely doubt it.
